Power plate shield arrived 3 weeks late, it was difficult to get any answers when l rang the gym company.But now its here and its brilliant.My PP is housed in my sunlounge on a tiled floor so a shield is definitely needed. This item should l believe be part of the whole kit. Oh well must dash PP here l come :)

Ordered this along with the power plate my3 on
18th March. A month later and I have still not received the shield. The vibrations of the power plate mean that I can only use it on it's lowest setting and even then only in the day time. I am hoping that when it does eventually arrive that it does have a significant effect. If it does then it should really come as standard or for a lot less.Did you find this review helpful?

We have our Powerplate in the extension at the top of the house (terraced) and the vibration makes the bannister shake on the ground floor. So I assume the two houses connected to ours feel the same. Even though we have never had a complaint we have tended to use it in the day time when the neighbours are out. This means it doesn't get used much. So I bought the shield to see if this would make a difference. It does, the house doesn't doesn't vibrate now. It doesn't cut out the noise (maybe some) and we still get some vibration, but it now usable in the evening. I think the price is high for what it is, £100 would seem more reasonable. However, I couldn't find anything on the market that would do the equivelent.

It took slightly longer to arrive than indicated but well worth the wait as it has significantly reduced the amount of vibration in the room. Worth the extra money but perhaps Power Plate should consider providing this as standard...

Not only does this fit perfectly under my My3, it also makes the machine look better, having its own stand. I bought if for a piece of mind that it would protect my flooring - job done!

This is fantastic for reducing the vibrations and noise produced by a PowerPlate - definitely worth the extra money as it takes the worry out of what might happen to your plaster and brickwork!
